I used to let the negative comments get to me, but now I just brush it off. Like Ziola said ( I think it was Ziola?!) When you put yourself out there, especially in video form, you have to expect some negative attention.
That doesnt mean it is right, or not disrespectful... But there isnt really anything Youtube can do besides give us the option to block users and to approve all comments before being posted. I dont belive in censorship either... whether on teh internets or in real life, people are gonna not like you or make fun of you.. but its much easier for them to be cowards and do it online then to your face.. so you will encounter the idiots more in cyberspace.
Voyboy, try not to let them bother you.. thats what they feed off of. And I try not to respond to their comments either, unless its an opportunity I just cant pass up. For example I once had a user call me a fucking slut on one of my vids. My response? I told him/her that comment just didnt have the same effect unless they were spanking me and pulling my hair while saying it.
