I have just been playing around with decoding and having fun learning it. However, this video was fantastic. I wonder who created i?

It's filmed in Fresno, so that's a little far to be done by the Creators or affiliates, though still California.

Merging "New ARG or continuation?" with a thread previously discussing the same fanfic. :)

translates to

Code: Select all

And for a minute there, I lost myself, I lost myself
That's from Karma Police .... Tachyon used an instrumental version of the same song in one of her first vids.

I am usually the last person to make the canon call, but I gotta admit ... these vids are pretty sharp. Its worth keeping an eye on.

Yes... the D in aphid. This is what I was thinking. Could these guys be trying to get Tach and Brother?

Here is the original YouTube upload from dehteraew (6 days ago). It was posted as a response to LordGreystoke422's video "Call to Arms..Or Would That Be Feet?". This video does not appear on Revver.

I don't know; the codes seem too easy to crack. I can't follow the OpAphid and Tachyon codes at all, but this is stuff a fifth grader could decode. (Well, I could have.)

[- .... .] [-..] [.. ...] [.-. . .- -.. -.--]?
WKH G?

I don't even need a translation tool for those.

"we are the D" is a line from the tenacious D song beealzeboss. it's the line Jack Black and Kyle Gass repeat until the devil interrupts them, "you guys are f**king lame!" it was the song they used for the showdown with the devil in the movie TENACIOUS D AND THE PICK OF DESTINY.

Brucker, I'm so glad you followed the 5th grader remark with disclaimer that you personally could have solved the code as a 5th grader (as my fragile pride was, at first, crushed, but then built back up because I convinced myself that we are all different and that's okay...)

I am embarassed to say that I watched; I was intrigued; I enjoyed the video, but I didn't even notice the code. Actually, I was reading through these posts and couldn't even follow Sad Panda's post where she quotes Brucker's findings and explains them in terms of Tachyon. Geez, I'm lame.8-[

I would agree with those who have suspicions about these videos. They sure do have a familiar feel to them... :-k

gogo, you and I might want to sit in the peanut gallery or maybe in the kindergarten decoder class and watch these good folks...shall we? <grin>

I may well never get it, but I reserve the right to stand in awe as I watch those who do...and cheer them on while they do it!

Good call, chershaytoute. I will definitely :smt041 cheerleader =D> for those who can do what I can't do. And I do appreciate the answers they provide to those of us in remedial code-breaking 101.

I hope they share a new video soon...

I can do the New York Times Crossword in about fifteen minutes, but the Jumble stumps me. We all have our talents, such as your talent for making awesome videos!
