See, if anyone would have issues terminating Gemma, it would be Brother. He was in some sort of a relationship/romantic entanglement with her that he continued after he found out she was involved in the Order. I think that he didn't kill her, but kidnapped her and is keeping her as his personal sex slave.

*raises an eyebrow*

Who said anything about heart?

Gemma isn't what most would consider a viable threat. My implication is that Tachyon would find it much more useful to keep Gemma alive as a source of information. Morals play no part in it. It's purely a matter of tactics. And I'm sure Brother would have no problem coaxing information out of Gemma.

But Tachy was on the inside and has information...that's why the Order is after her. Brother coaxed a lot out of Gemma...and I think he had no problem following orders. Gemma was as much a threat as anyone in the Order and working with Op. That's why Tachy killed before...

Tachyon, WAS on the inside. No guaruntee that she still is. There is also no real way to know anything about the information either Gemma or Tachyon have or had. It would strike me as potentially foolish to terminate Gemma. Gemma allowed herself to be used by the order. That confirms in my mind that she isn't the sharpest knife. But pawns are still within earshot of the players making the moves.

Why would Gemma not be considered a threat? They seemed to have to go through some elaborate means to fix everything that happened after she got close to brother-- blow up a building, plant a dead body, etc. Based on that -- and the plan to use the D in Aphid with Brother as well-- I don't think Gemma was as passive a player in all this as you're making her seem.

Ah, but I didn't say she was, still. I clearly said WAS. Hence the rest of my point.

Have you kept up with the ARG?

And she also inquired if the D in aphid was out of the question when dealing with Bree. I agree with ya, here.

Gemma being a threat at all to me is that she was a 'double agent' placed to feed Bree misinformation and to try and influence her decisions in favor of the Order. Once her cover was blown by Brother and Tachyon, that threat was neutralized. With all due respect, the biggest threat she offers now is 'pouty facing' someone into submission.

As for blowing up buildings and killing people... Well... If you have no problem with the idea of blowing up the building, wouldn't that have killed Gemma? Why the ellaborate setup? Killing isn't hard. Gemma has displayed being alone on many occasions. Brother and Tachyon have displayed the ability to spy on Gemma while she was alone repeatedly. So again, why the setup?

That is exactly the point.

If I considered her a passive player, then I wouldn't see any logic in her capture. Also Brother has been gone about as long as Tachyon was. What is it that's kept him away?

And as for disagreeing, that's everyone's right isn't it. I stated my information as opinion and food for thought. Sorry if it gave you indigestion.

Well, the point is that we never know everything...and we never know everything that brother and tach are doing. If we know it, Op knows it. Suspension of disbelief. It's vital for this story and game.

Now, there's no need to be snarky. I simply stated it because it seemed useless for us to continue discussing and seemed time to agree to disagree. :?

It wasn't meant to be 'snarky'. It was actually agreeing to disagree.
People always seem to take things so personally.
