Actually... it *was* "girls that do ceremonies", but now it says "call back girls" and I remember it saying "talk to girls", at first.

Anyone remember, or have a log of the IRC chat with the first transcriptions?

Actually, the audio file acid posted is different than what's on the message now. Acid's says, "Hey Bree, this is Daniel...." but the one up now clearly is "Hey, this is Daniel..." (no Bree)


I wonder how many girls will call and say, "He Daniel, I'll do a ceremony if you want. Call me."

Ok guys, sorry for the OTness, I won't post anything else after this to do with the number. Thanks to Apo, bethy and ich for helping me! I already tried all of those but none worked... but just adding 1 worked with all of Brothers VM's which is what had me confused and I thought I was doing something wrong.

As long as I know that it's definitely 1, I can figure it out from here. If not I'll.... eat my hat. Or Lad's hat.

I got the "Bree this is Daniel...(blah blah) ...I only call girls that do ceramonies" version just for ref. Any significance in the changes of the script?
Also, glad to see that The Creators didn't abandon the ceramony! It went into hiding for a while and the series (to me) seemed like it was slipping because we'd forgotten WHY they were on the run in the first place.

I think the change is there for one reason:

Bree isn't going to figure out the number. I think that message is more so to enforce the idea that danny boy is a pawn.

"hey this is daniel leave a message if you want to but I only call back girls who do the ceremony *whispers* Bree do the ceremony"

he first asked last night for bree to call him back. and it said hey bree last night too.

Basically it was more towards her than us last night and now its more towards us.

so in 6 hours its gone from bree --> us

so if it is geared more so towards all of us...should we leave a message anyway? think about it...1 - 2 minutes call long distance...not much money.

as i said I would leave a message but have no idea when he would call back and I can't risk it being when I am in class. 1) for the possibility of being in biochemistry when he calls and 2) I don't want to screw us over by not picking it up and missing out on some info.

Oppy never really called us, at least personally. Brother did. Op set it up so that we'd leave messages on Tachyon's VM, Brother would get the messages, and then call us back, looking for information about his sister. Op tapped the line listened in, testing us. If you gave him information about OpAphid, you failed Op's test. If you didn't you passed. After you were done speaking with Brother, you got a recorded call back from OpAphid telling you that you either passed or failed.

This doesn't seem like a similar situation to me, but you never know. It can't hurt to leave Op your digits.

Btw, Op has many more allies than Panda and Hor

I run a switchboard, so I called and left a message...but, nobody has ever called me when I've done this before so I hold out very little hope that I'll get a call back this time. But, hey, gotta try, eh!
