Ok, maybe the van being empty isn't as telling as I'd previously implied. It still doesn't negate the other facts; Jonas wanting to involve the police and him not further investigating the house.

Disappearance at sea of apparently very wealthy couple leaving their teenage son an orphan surely would have made the bigger papers in the area. And the obits often (especially in smaller towns) often give the home address to send flowers or for visitations.

And, yes, the phone book would probably have been an even easier way to do it! What young boy thinks to get an unlisted phone number, lol!
I agree with silvermoon, his parents' disappearance left a paper trail a mile wide leading back to Jonas. He's still living in the same house, remember. Address, phone, everything is probably still the same.

That just leaves us where we've been all along - wondering what the Order wants from Bree. They seem to always know where she is, they could grab her (or kill her) seemingly at any time. They don't, so they must think that whatever they want from her can be better obtained using whatever method they're using now.

It makes me think that maybe the Order is engaged in some greater struggle, and Bree is just a side note to that struggle. Some sort of asset or reserve, maybe. When it appears they might lose her, or the other side gain her, they take action. Otherwise they just let things be. That make any sense?

Absolutely! I posted a theory that I thought it might be possible that just as Bree is one of the "chosen" girls, maybe Jonas had been chosen as well. How can we be sure that he was raised by his biological parents? Perhaps being chosen means having some special something that they wanted carried on. Not neccessarily race, but something like superior intellect or a gene that is special --something like that.

Maybe they've been trying to nudge Jonas and Bree together this whole time. When something goes wrong in their plan, they nudge it out of the way, or make it disappear (like Bree's father or Daniel!).

loving the idea. maybe the cowboy is part of the order and will lock jonas && bree in his basement screaming "HAVE INTERCOURSE OR DIE!" so they can reproduce more order-babies. && MAYBE if we're reallyreally lucky they'll have jackson take off his shirt!!

I would also point out that the only evidence we have of Jonas' parents disappearance is from Jonas himself. There may actually be no paper trail if he is lying.
