I doubt that OpAphid's actually good. Maybe they have good intentions, but their methods so far seem to suggest that even if they have good intentions, they're paving a road to hell nonetheless.

That's what he said...but maybe Daniel was conspiring with Bree's Dad all along and their conversation was something completely different.

Yeah, they talked for a long time..I don't think it was just about the play. Something else was probably involved.

How do you know it was a long time? It could have been less than two or three minutes. We didn't get a real-time recording of when Daniel left to when he returned (the scenes weren't even in chronological order).

If Daniel's entire friendship has been a charade... I don't know what I'll do. I would feel so betrayed. But it would be a good twist! Either way, thank you for putting together these theories. Great work!

He didn't turn evil, it seems. He seems brainwashed. He even refers to himself in the third-person a couple of times ("We have Daniel" and "Listen to your friend Daniel").

I highly doubt that it's been a trick all along. Daniel was the one who originally caused Bree not to do the ceremony, and now that OpAphid has him, "he" is telling her to do what he stopped her from doing before. Also, in the video, "Daniel" still refers to the Order as though it's something Bree has more familiarity with than him ("I remember I had all these concerns about the religion you were into").

And, of course, there's the third-person references to himself. It really seems like OpAphid has brainwashed him and is speaking through him.

Yeah I thought about that after I posted that!
