Any signifigance to the plot?

OMG!!! I LOVE THAT BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've read that book and loooooovvvveeeedddd it and I read the sequel, Rebel Angels. I did think of those books when I first discovered LG15. If you have any questions, you can totally ask me.
I would reccomend them to anyone. They are sooo good.
Umm...some similarities I can think of:
1.There is a secret organization called "The Order" that is made up of powerful (like magical) women
2. There is a betrayer (Her name is Sarah but changes her name to Circe, and I'm comparing her to Gemma)
3. Powerful mothers
4. One of parents die (In the book, it was her mother. In LG15, it was her dad)

I can't think of anything else at the moment. Let me think about it.

It's interesting that the women are in power.... didn't we learn that Bree's mom was high in the Order, and also it seems that only girls are chosen for the ceremony

Yes, I thought that was interesting too. Gemma's mother (in the book) was high in The Order, and very powerful. Her best friend was named Sarah (aka Circe, who turned out to be a betrayer--connections to Gemma in LG15???) In the book, only women are in the Order. Gemma was sort of a chosen one to destroy Circe. (Again--connections to LG15? Bree=chosen one? Gemma in book=chosen one?)
Umm...lemme think.
In the book it is kind of implied that Gemma is in love with an Indian boy named Kartik who is chosen by an organization that is close to the Order, and that he is in love with her. This is not how things are done, and they can't really do anything about it.
If it turns out that Daniel is in some sort of secret organization also, I would seriously wonder if LG15 is based on this book, lol.
k...I'm going to get the books from my shelf to refresh my memory.
Oh. Ok. Here's another similarity. Her mother was killed by a member of the Order (Circe) Bree's dad was killed by a member of the Order.
