Pins and Pints

I think it is too easy for it to be the actual name of an actual place (though I could be wrong - it is certainly not easy to find a place on the west coast called "pins and pints").

I'm wondering if maybe it used to be named pins and pints and recently had a name change?

The reference to the book is http://www.amazon.com/Ex-Why-Me-Susanna ... 0758210833 . In this book, a character runs a bowling alley called Pins and Pints.

The book takes place takes place in suburban chicago, I believe?

The author of the book resides in seattle.

I decided it was probably a coincidence .

Or, Pins and Pints could be the name of the evening's event at the bowling alley. Sort of like "Thursdays: Pins and Pints night at Joe's Bowling Alley."

Sort of like "Midnight Bowling"
A person might say, "I went to Midnight Bowling last night", instead of, "I went to Leisure Lanes last night."

So Daniel could have done the same thing.
"I went to Pins and Pints last night" instead of "I went to Joe's Bowling Alley last night."

Is that possible? If so, then we would need to find a bowling alley that is not necessarily named "Pins and Pints" but advertises pins and pints.
