I don't think Daniel is the bad guy in all of this. I think he's a protector of some sort...to protect Bree, either instructed by someone else or just by his own free will....but I don't think he's trying to do something on purpose to piss off the order. He was the element they didn't plan for.

I think Daniel is a protector of some sort. Maybe her guardian angel in physical form.

Oooo, sort of like that Meg Ryan Nick Cage movie? Perhaps he will give up his angelness to stay with her, but then she'll get run over by a car as she bikes down the road... that would just be Daniel's luck.

Wow, I was way off on the whole Daniel thing. You guys are WAY smarter than me.

I was thinking all this time that Daniel is some friend Bree had who had a romantic spark with her and as Bree's life unfolded with the weird satanic cult stuff Daniel has helped her because he truly cares for her as his friend and possibly "more". I was so blind to the Guardian Angel and protector aspect of it all.

I saw this movie where Ben Affleck and Matt Demon were playing Guardian Angels who had to protect Jay and Silent Bob, but Ben Affleck turned out to be the demon's seed and turned on his sworn duty as angel, he rebelled and was killed in the end of the story. But that's about all I know about Guardian Angels. Hopefully i'll learn more from DanielBeaste!!!
