I went to investigate that. I think I was onto something, but the trail went cold in Brazil. So I came home. I hope I haven't said too much already, but when the time is right I'll pick my investigation back up where I left off. I may need to head to Romania next. I'll take my PDA with me again, though the video I shot with it last time wasn't really worth much. I'll post what I've got already at some point in the future. I need to try to enhance the video first.

I like him too. :)

I agree that the puzzle solving stuff isnt as fun for me anymore.. (like in the CIW days) So I really dont contribute to any of the OP stuff... But like BK said, I still watch the vids so I dont feel completely out of the loop, then read some of the posts... Im disappointed that Op is becoming a big part of the story... But Im still trying to follow it as best I can. :)

This thread should've been entitled "Creators Be Tellin' Lies" cuz then I could smile each time I read it.

yea i tend to agree...the puzzles have become more....complicated i think.

but maybe it's ecause i haven't been paying much attention to the puzzles, but more so the solutions.

Dancing GI Joe?

Anyway, I'll go back and forth between all these, just depends on my mood, so Father Giovanni shall make a return. Some day.

Dancing GI Joe? :smt017

"Dangerous" seems like a rather grandiose word to use. And it makes the entire assessment sound more like an empty, petulant threat than an expression of any real significant thought.

...o_0 righto. I'll make sure to take that into account next time I write a professional document. But when I'm showing solidarity with the disenfranchised I'll use it.

It's clear that it wasn't a threat. The creators can do whatever the hell they please, it's their show and I only watch it for what it adds to the game. However, like all shows, marketing the program to the largest number of viewers is important to them and I know we'd all be hardpressed to think of a show that required homework of the viewers. As long as the US is the main market, passive entertainment is the best route to revenue. And if this were art and not consumer based then we wouldn't have Jonas in the same state we have him.

All I'm saying is that they should be careful with regards to making promises to viewers becuase they should be mindful of their bottomline at the very least.

From an "Operator," this says a lot.

Just because no one else ever states it. :)

As long as any essential info gets repeated in LG15, watching OpAphid and Tachyon IS NOT essential to LG15. It only adds another point of view.

There have been five or six threads on this in various forms, and each time it seems like the consensus is that it is not REQUIRED since LG15 is Bree/Daniel/Jonas' point of view.

A good example is the Gemma situation. Bree, Daniel, and Jonas clearly know she is bad and we all saw that too. But us following the ARG learned a *little* more about her badness.

And the puzzles should be getting harder since it seems like the last led us up to the end of a story arc. But that's the great thing about story arcs, each new one offers a good jumping on point for newcomers.

Correct me if I am wrong, but it seems like the OpAphid videos especially have become VERY easy to understand, as have the Tacyhon Gemma videos.

But, all that aside, PREPARE TO BE ASSIMILATED.

It does seem to be sucking in more and more people, which is good for LG15 and OpAphid/Tachyon fans alike. Those of us in the know get a cool bonus through this other perspective on the same story at various points of intersection and overlap.

Personally, I'll go with the Buffy/Angel or even comic book comparison, and I am stoked because I feel like I get to read two X-men books now instead of just one! :D
