Thanks, but oddly that's only a minor reason why I didn't feel that I belong... I don't really get fazed by being bombarded with topics. It's when I'm posting but getting no responses that gets to me.Beckers wrote:I think you should stay....I find it hard to post myself. The topics seem to fill up sp fast it's hard to keep up. I just don't have the time. A lot of the time when I come and see there is a new video there is already 17 pages of posts! I'm not complaining but it's almost impossible to jump in at that point. So I just try and catch the important things.
In this instance it is meant to be taken as "fit in", BA... I'll get to explaining what I mean in a sec.nobackspacebutton wrote:Why wouldn't you belong?
If you think about it, what does belong mean?
Like I replied to Beckers, the amount of topics doesn't bother me... If anything it kinda helps me get past my feelings of not fitting in. I know about the "marking all as read" feature, though I don't really seem to mind having all those yellow stickies around, anyway.nobackspacebutton again wrote:When you come in, and there are a million topics to read..just pick the ones you want to read so you don't get overwelmed. If you can't get rid of all the yellow stickys...just hit the "mark all read" button and they will disappear. =)
Just relax and have fun. This forum is for everyone.
Sorry, fondue... Dares have nothing to do with this...agent_fondue wrote:Stay, i dare you to.
I can understand that...when I first posted here a got a load of negative replies who didn't take my posts seriously or even consider them and argue them effectivly. If was a rough start but I was convinced to stay by someone who sent me PM out of the blue.kageyuki wrote:

I'm sorry your feeling so down about this, but this is ment to be fun and if you arent having fun.... what really is the point?kageyuki wrote:Sorry, fondue... Dares have nothing to do with this...agent_fondue wrote:Stay, i dare you to.
Oh, shut up you.Beckers wrote:I can understand that...when I first posted here a got a load of negative replies who didn't take my posts seriously or even consider them and argue them effectivly.
ha, that was great.AutoPilate wrote:Oh, shut up you.Beckers wrote:I can understand that...when I first posted here a got a load of negative replies who didn't take my posts seriously or even consider them and argue them effectivly.
[/just kidding]
This is why I choose not to post that ofen. I like to have something to say. A lot of the info on here is great and I appreciate everyone who takes the time to do the research as I don't have the time.nobackspacebutton wrote:All comments are taken seriously, unless your glowe. Or someone else just "trying to be funny".
If you are so unnoticed, how come so many of us respond to this? =P surely if no one cared, we wouldn't even bother trying to convince you otherwise.
I know a lot of people do more research than some and that is why other people respond to them...its not just a post saying "loved the vid, daniel seems like he's in trouble"..its more like "That symbol means this and Daniel this...and maybe this symbol relates to this and this..."
Get what I mean? I guess what I'm trying to say is, if you want to be more noticed in your post, try researching more into the video before you post your response...think of your response as a small report summary of what you think everything was about.
Another good way to get people to reply to you---is to reply to other people. Make a conversation...discuss what they posted...
Thats how it works...just like how this worked.
There are tons of lurkers here that just post once in a blue moon...I guess it all depends on how much attention you want and how much time your willing to spend here.
Oh? and who would that be?Beckers wrote:I can understand that...when I first posted here a got a load of negative replies who didn't take my posts seriously or even consider them and argue them effectivly. If was a rough start but I was convinced to stay by someone who sent me PM out of the blue.

Thanks guys, but my point here is this... I have no problems when it comes to the "informal" topics, like this one. I get dozens upon dozens of comments and replies, here...nobackspacebutton wrote:All comments are taken seriously, unless your glowe. Or someone else just "trying to be funny".
