I think Bree's too immature and in la-la land way too much to love anyone. Daniel needs someone who can truly appreciate the sh*t he goes through and Bree definitely doesn't. She's very self-centered.

I agree with you to a point but she is going through a tough time and Daniel and her are best friends. It's only natural that he would want to help her this much. Plus besides school...he has nothing waiting for him at home.
