i hate the dentist

I am not a wimp when it comes to pain, doctors, etc.

But I hate the dentist.

I don't have a problem with needles, so I ask them to numb me just to clean my teeth, because I can't stand it.

I've never had a cavity, but if I get one, I'm gonna go nuts.

I hope they have a payment plan, so your holiday money doesn't all go to waste.

Agreed.

(a lot of people have much worse problems than that...I'm sorry I'm not trying to be mean but its the truth) :(
I understand that you arent trying to be mean, and I can see how my "I hate my life" title could seem a little overdramatic like this is the worst this ever but it really isnt ment to be taken that way... more as sacasm... I don't hate my life, just the dentist.

Arggg, yhea I am with you on that one.
I had some pretty severe dental surgery about five years ago ( this is still some fall out from that) after a car wreck and now even the smell of the dentist office kinda makes me want to puke.

I have decent insurance but I'm still going to end up paying at least a grand, but I have care credit so I guess its all good for now.

Are you controlling it via diet? 'cause my wife is Type II, and there's nothing she *can't* have, as long as she calculates for it. But then, she's on an insulin pump, which keeps things in pretty good control :)

edit: I just realized after reading further in the thread, that she does have to watch her caffeine intake, less it cause a kidney infection.

She's type II and has an insulin pump? i thought only type I needed insulin... well whenever I get the money/chance to go to the doc I know I have to prick my finger everyday until each finger goes numb and I have to prick the other hand until that goes numb and vice versa

I usually get glucose control pills and the cheapest way to control it is to exercise everyday and sweat it all out, but even then if I lose track of my sugar intake, I'm stuck going #1 every hour on the hour... even thru the night I must wake up every hour to go to the bathroom... not to mention the dizzy spells and fatigue or even possible visibility loss

Tests my willpower and determination alot... :) anyway... :-({|=

Hahahahaha!

Yes, while we're using scientists, Holly is like Richard Feynman. Cool and funny. And supa-smexy. JK....well, not about Holly being smexy, she is. But Feynman isn't. Well, not now that he's a rotting corpse.

Ok, point is, Holly's smexy, funny, and totally awesome.
