12/10 means december 10th in america, not october 12th.HyeMew wrote:Why is everyone expecting something to happen on 12/10?
It was clear, as they are Americans, they were referring to Oct. 12, and indeed the ceremony (real or fake) happened on that day. That's what they were preparing us for. Nothing special will happen today, Bree had no way of forseeing this that's for sure, let alone drop a hint it would be happening months ago.
That's my point, a lot of people around here seem to be waiting for the big event to happen today because of the whole 10-12 thing. Lots of the British fans here figured it meant Dec. 10 while the Americans assumed it was Oct. 12. Something happened on Oct. 12, yet people around here are still expecting something to happen today as well. I was saying the Creators are American and probably didn't even realize that saying 10-12-06 would be December 10 to many people. It was basically me telling them to stop waiting.alex wrote:12/10 means december 10th in america, not october 12th.
They are freaking out because it is my birthday.HyeMew wrote:Why is everyone expecting something to happen on 12/10?

i don't know about the military, but i've been taught month/day/year for as long as i can remember.MrsCop wrote:I thought U.S. military used day, month, year..
but wth do I know
if they are american, why would they mistakingly think that people would think it means something that it means in america?HyeMew wrote:That's my point, a lot of people around here seem to be waiting for the big event to happen today because of the whole 10-12 thing. Exactly, so I will explain to Alex again...Vintage_Angel wrote: ... Y'all know that LG15 takes place in sunny California right? And that the creators are American. The only two people involved with LG15 that aren't "america" are Jessica Rose and the girl who plays Gemma.
Yea, that's another diff. In the US we learn it as month/day/year.Danielle wrote:I've always learned it day/month/year.
Meh, but I'm from Canadia so... ah well.
Haha well we know P. Monkey is crazy, but him rating a cookie with a score of "October"? He's not even that insane.Vintage_Angel wrote:Lol, perhaps its a good idea if the creators start saying "October 12, 2006". Instead of 10-12-06. Then we wouldn't be fighting over this right now.
