This is NOT Thelema! ::tired of this whole discussion:: This is a fictional religion, so we dunno what will be valueble and what are red herrings. The "Nut kills man" may have been an immense coincidence, or a red herring placed carefully when the creators said "Hey, we're gonna base a lot of this religion on Egyptian religions; now what's some recognizable god or godess we can allude to that's not too painstakingly obvious.....?"

I say they are more "shepherds" than "watchers", herding Bree and Daniel to THEIR turf. First rule of warfare; choose the battleground yourself, don't let your enemy choose it. so through a series of scareing tactics, they sorta herd them to Jonas (who is not on Oppy's friend list [mentioned "interrogating" him]) to get everyone in one foul swoop.

i have a feeling that THIS is the ceremony. it's happening right now. the ceremony is just the order watching bree and daniel discover their free will.

i know its not thelema... but we can't deny that its inspired by theleme can we? the crowley shrine and everything? its inspired by thelema. why else would we draw the connections?

although the order is obviously a perverted thelema, it has to at least subscribe to some basic principles. right?

besides... i think the "this is the ceremony" theroy would satisfy you thelmalites. right? i mean it isn't an evil order, its just a less than orthadox order. i think crowley himself would smile at the idea.

You just started posting on the board, so I won't jump down your throat. I will simply suggest that you read the post on Forum Etiquette, Rules and Policies, particularly the section on When and Where to Post. The suggestion about looking for already-existing threads is a gentle way of telling new forumites that before you start a new discussion, you need to read the other threads to make sure your theory hasn't been discussed previously. If it has been, you're likely to get responses (as you have in this thread) like "Oh, not that theory again."

Wow, you're pretty confident, aren't you? I would like to tactfully point out that there is no theory on this planet about which "NOTHING" can be said to disprove it.

But I wouldn't offer an argument against your theory in any case. In the thread I gave you a link to, I and other people made a case for exactly what you're saying. Starting with JacksAndDouches's post on the linked page, some of the posts in the thread talk about how what Bree is going through is an elaborate ritual designed to teach her who she really is. If you had read the posts that you say you don't have time to read, you might not have felt the need to defend your theory in a way that, IMHO, detracts considerably from the credibility of your previous statements in this thread.

You seem like someone who has valuable insights to offer. I'd hate to see you start off on the wrong foot, and alienate people who've been here for a bit longer than you, and who have already put a lot of time and thought into LG15. This forum can be a friendly and welcoming place for those who are friendly and welcoming themselves.

i was also drunk! haha. although i havn't posted much, i've been here for a pretty long time... although i'd be open to another twist... i think it's pretty obvious that if this was a goofy mnight shamalan movie or something to the like, everybody would see it my way. but since it's an internet vlog, people are thinking of it in the right mindset.
