"Jonastko" is the character. "Traveler J" was an "anonymous source" and may only be a reference to Jonas rather than the actual character.
Characters only post in their respective "Chat" areas although Jessica Lee Rose does, in fact, occasionally post in the forums as herself.

How long has "Traveler J's" username existed?
I figured that someone besides Jessica Lee Rose was posting as the character of Bree.

Jonas makes me nervous. He's too charming, too attractive, and too safe. His Bruce Wayne comment really messed me up too, especially since Bruce Wayne is the law-abiding alterego/cover for Batman. I want to go ahead and assume that Jonas is the law-abiding cover for the Watchers.

There has subsequently been one additional post from this member - a 'insider' post confirming clues from Tachyon. The OpA gamers have pretty much come to the conclusion that this member is, in fact, an insider.

I looked his profile up. Suspiciously absent, indeed! He definitely is an insider. The intrigue grows deeper!

I already posted this in an OpAphid thread, being new and unsure of where these things go. If Jonas is the Traveler J ..... Has someone already mentioned that a fellow traveler was code for a fellow communist during the communist days of the 1940's? A way of recognising someone without coming out and asking. Just making it clearer, I think, that Jonas is one of the OpAhid. Or that she wants us to think he is. I then looked it up on wikipedia. So for those who want more info (didn't realise it went back so far) fellow traveller started in 1917 russia, denotes one who sympathises with movement but doesn't necessarily belong to said movement. Plus, Oppy often travels and as such is a traveller...

I was just thinking that maybe there's a prior connection to Jonas from one of the "communities" that she's lived in variuos parts of the world.

Bree's trust in Jonas might be explained in this theory - maybe Bree knows and/or recognizes him. Bree has been involved in this group for her entire life, and only started to become unsure when Daniel started questioning her involvement.

Gemma may be more on Danile's side - especially if she's cut ties to the order. While Jonas is on the order's side, and knows how to win her back. It's possible that his parents "disappeared" due to the order as well. I'd have to do some research, but does anyone know of a group that has "graduations" where you leave your old life behind for a new/better one? (not in the heaven's gate or kool-aid drinking manner0/

What's to say that Bree maybe so attached to her group that she feels wrong abandoning it (regardless of the actions of them toward her parents - which is yet to be established that it is violent/horrible - they did leave w/ Lucy willingly).

Sorry - just has a quick brainstorm around this character - thought it might make for interesting discussion since I couldn't really find anyone else with this approach.

Haven't been following any OpAphid news, but I'm also beginning to think that Jonas has ties to the Order. He seems a bit too sincere in his empathizing with Bree, which makes me think that his empathy is mostly false.
