I'm not picking on you. I'm asking you to watch your language. There are many board members (myself included) with mentally and physically handicapped children who are offended by that word. I point out its offensive nature quite often. I'm not being rude or angry, just asking you to watch your language.

I can understand where you are coming from. And maybe its because you are relatively new and haven't searched the backlog of threads, but I do ask people to watch their use of the word. I haven't been around in a little while (RL comittments), so I'm sure that some people have used it with no repercussions. I know that you meant no offense by it, but sometimes its those words that really do offend. I'm not mad or bitching and I'm sorry if it seems that way to you. In my brain, this doesn't sound like "angry-type" but if it does to you, I apologize. All I want is for you to please not use that word. Thank you.

I'm not new here either....I've been watching from the start. I just didn't start posting till I finally got a vacation and had some time!

Also...I have a mental illness but I don't stress when people are making innocent comments.

You are obviously not going to change your mind or opinion on this matter and that is fine. Just be aware that some people here are nowhere near as nice as me regarding this and be prepared for some flame wars. I'm not being a jerk, or threatening you, there have been entire threads devoted to this
