CAN'T YOU SEE THAT DANIEL LOVES BREE?
(really neat idea though)
(I'm not sure how intelligent that sounded)
Yeah, I do, Magesa, but it's still fun to toss these things around. But I think you are right. I don't think Daniel would ever turn on Bree. If there's any turning to be done, I think it would be the other way around...although I don't see that happening either. I think these two have a bond that won't allow for that kind of betrayal by either of them.
I hope you're right, igfrenzy. If the plot ends up showing that either Bree or Daniel intended all along to betray the other, I'll be very disappointed.
Then again, have you read 1984? There's a heartbreaking betrayal in that book that is completely believable -- and understandable. (I won't say any more for fear of spoilage.) If something like that happened here, I'd be sad, but not disappointed.

Sorry if I sounded critical. Anything's possible. But Bree vs. Daniel? I agree, iqfrenzy, that "these two have a bond that won't allow for that kind of betrayal by either of them."

Yes, I've read 1984, and I understand what you are getting at, and in that case, there might be a betrayal.
