I don't think it a jump to assume that Daniel has a laptop. He seems very tech savvy. They didn't show it in the video, but it could have easily been stored in the trunk or under a seat.

Yep. Just accept it. Things don't always have to make sense... (such as me! I rarely make sense...)

Here's a few questions - Does Daniel work? Go to school? Both? Neither? And what about his parients? Won't all those people start wondering where the heck he is? You can't keep calling in sick to work or not show up for school indefinitely.

Easy way for the creators to explain this

Daniel could have a sprint card...like me....you can drive, go to the beach, and i dunno go anywhere with it....just hook it up to the laptop and if you got a cell phone signal you got the interweb...**i am sitting in traffic as i write this ***

oh by the way...why doesnt bree go to the many trucker stops and use the free showers?

As a barely 17 year old girl, she's probably scared to go, if she even knows they exist. She's been pretty sheltered, she might not have any idea there is such a thing.

I thought that too, but at the very end Daniel says he's getting a hotal and the last shot appears to be of a Marriott or something.

i agree. he probably had a laptop already. and didn't daniel say they might look for a hotel? they are probably trying to get really far away before they do, so they don't get tracked down. the money from bree's parents isn't necessarily all they have, i'm sure daniel has his own savings for gas and whatever else. togehter they can probably afford a cheap motel (naughty )
