I've had really good luck with doing that, especially when I research the stylist beforehand. The way I do that is simply to walk up to women on the street whose haircuts I like and ask them who does their hair. That's how I found the hairdresser I've been using for five years. The first time I went to her, I told her exactly what you did (except I didn't talk about punk rock, I just said I wanted a haircut that was stylish and easy to care for). She looked at me for about a minute and then said, "I know exactly what to do." And she gave me a fabulous cut. I've been going to her ever since.

IM BAAAAAAAAAAACK!
so i go to the same lady every time.... she told me today i am crazy. lol. because i walked in and i was like "do something punk rock" she was like "do you even care about your hair?" my response "meh. it will grow back." lol
It looks AMAZING! I will have pics up soon ^_^
