Boy, I can't figure what it would be OF. We have been given no clues. I think we need to find where it IS.

We don't know if this is the picture Frank had or not. Now, if someone asked, "That picture you lost, did it have a chalice in it?" Then we would know. We'll know what painting we're looking for once we find it.

just my .02.

the picture looks pretty western in style, so I'm not sure that looking for paintings of indian gods will lead anywhere.

also, the blue hands look original, as in it doesn't seem as if Cassie added the blue to highlight the hands..

while it might not be clear that this is the painting that was taken from Frank, I'm pretty sure it's an important clue to solving where.

Based on the pictures I'm viewing from India, there are several that match the style of the chalice one..

The thing is, this picture was stolen from his motel room. So it would be a picture that would be in a motel, right? Something mass produced, not an original work of art. And what kind of motel would have a painting of Hindu gods on the wall?

.. Of course I don't think I've ever been in a motel that had paintings involving chalices either, so maybe it was a personal painting of Frank's that he brought with him to the motel.

here's my new strategy.. am looking for paintings of roses, or a rose garden.. so far, it's pulling up a lot of pictures of Madonna and a child in a rose garden.. blue features prominently in the search hits... maybe something? *fingers crossed*

somehow I doubt the picture is going to lead us to an actual drop because that's likely to be in a museum, and I'm not sure how much museum love people coming in and dropping unknown things.. but hopefully, it'll turn up something!

You probably wouldn't steal a painting from a motel and "drop" it in a museum anyways - that's sort of backwards.
