As someone who OWNS a slip, I think APO is more right on. I use a Dock or a pier to pull up my boat while its in the water. I take it to my Slip when I want it out of the water. Also heres a better definition IMO ( from answers.com)Jo_16_2 wrote:from dictionary.com:nowherepixie wrote:What's a slip?
