Personally I think we'd have more luck looking into the books mentioned on his my space account. They look awfully close to the exact process we're looking for!

I agree. The reason this got my interest in the first place is that it seemed to nod towards those two books that Spencer listed as interests. If this little 1B3D thing meant anything, I think it would just be a nod in the direction of a process.

Seriously, why would the creators hand out the answer to something at the beginning of Spencer's two months in the series?

I still find all of this rather interesting, though.

what if by adding stromelysin-1 you could perhaps make her trait negative... through my google search I came across articles that spoke of the adding it to break up the ECM... thoughts?

The stromelysin-1, I think is a dead end. It doesn't work with RNA as an inhibitor and Epogen isn't mentioned with it either. What is ECM and how does it pertain to our girl? I'd never heard the acronym before.
