I brought this over from the "My Mom's a freak" video thread. Might we have our new Bree?

Anybody feeling my Taylor theory sounds good after tonights video?

Skunk: I agree Jonas is another good candidate, there is a lot they could do with him too, though I think a female lead is better for youtube views.

I don't how they can eliminate the order from the show at this point though. i guess one option would be like, a la Buffy, they completely destroy the Order. But even in Buffy, some other evil thing pops up the next season. The show can't go very easily from a Buffy-clone, to, say, a Felicity (eww!) clone.

I love Bree, DB, Jonas, and i've made room for Taylor and Sarah too! Even Jules grew on me a tad. And don't forget NikkiB!

I think it would be great to do a new 'season', and I would probably watch it, but if they do I feel they should give a break somehow. Unless...you know...Bree dies or something, and they need a new 'lead' right away. But after this ceremony arc ends, if Bree is still standing, what would be cool to start a new 'season' would be a vid saying 'well after all this, after over a year...we're going to try and live our lives in peace and not make vlogs anymore, sorry guys'. And we'll have KateModern by then too. But then someone, like Jonas, picks up the camera after a month or two and gets this lead on his parents (i'm just using this as an example, it could always happen with a different character different ways) and he has to go 'find' them (preferably with Bree by his side ). Along the way we could find out various other things, like whatever did happen to that girl Cassie?, or did Brother really find the any key and kill Gemma , etc.

Sound good, crazy...? I think the Creators actually probably have 'the end' planned out already though.

I hope it's not Taylor. She may have a camera and a bed, but that doesn't make her Bree. She's just too annoying.

However, this is obviously a script problem, so if the Creators could alter her character a little (as they did before), I could MAYBE live with her. MAYBE. (*end rant*)

Long ago I wouldn't have said I miss her, but now I do. Too much baggage to be the new Bree, but I don't think she's dead either.

Well they made us dislike Bree, I think they can make us like Taylor more.

Just another plot hole. With a real life reason: the actress who was to play Sam dropped out of the show.

I've been having this feeling for the past few weeks that Bree might be leaving as a character. I would hate to see her die though, seeing all that has happened. Maybe she'll enter the witness protection program or something along those lines. I think an exit like "Bree's-still-here-but-is-in-hiding-and-can't-make-more-videos" would be a good way to do it.

But enough of that. Out of all of the characters, Jonas is the only one who strikes me as having enough of a plot to take the role of the "main" character. Taylor is a close second choice, but her character isn't really that connected with the order... (Maybe her dad will marry Lucy or something... I dunno.) Sarah is a huge personality too, but she is a bit too... "PG-13 and Up" to take anything beyond a major character. Daniel... well, he just doesn't really work as a main character. I'm affraid he's doomed to always be a sidekick.

As for other characters: Jules, Gemma, Nikki B... those characters are just that: Other Characters. (Gemma is a villain, Jules is probably a plant by the order, and Nikki B. is pseudo-canon).

Cassie - A character that will be forever be a puppet to be used for fan vids and other fan stuff

I think that covers everyone.

I know, but I still don't think that's an excuse for the Creators. Could they not pick another actress? I'm sure there are hundreds who'd have loved the opportunity.

I'm guessing they had some videos ready and did not have time to redo them. They chose Jules because of the videos she already made, to prevent losing time. that we she was already introduced and fit into the storyline.

However they could have been a bit more subtle in their way to write Sam out of the story.

It's probably giving them too much credit here, but we don't actually 100% KNOW that Jules was the new girl or that Sam wasn't. It's still entirely possible for Sam, played by someone else of course, to show up on the scene in Texas and ask Taylor and Jonas for help. Jules may have just been some girl in a HoO family. If the order is as Maffiaesque as they seem, they probably would hunt down some people who kidnapped one of their own, especially if one of them was the original ceremony girl.
