I'm way more interested in the book than the movie.

I can't wait to find out that Voldemort is really Harry's older brother and their father is from a race of superbeings from the moon. Oh and then, you know, it's gonna turn out that Voldemort was being controlled but an evil moon guy and then everyone will travel to the moon in a giant mechanical whale to fight him in a giant underground palace while all their friends gather in the city of magic (Hogsmead?) and wish them all back to life when they get killed. It really is a shame that the crazy old guy died though. I liked him.

Oh yeah, me either. Not that anything will but, it wouldn't even if something tried to happen.

Funny thing? I actually messaged Spencer on myspace being friendly first, and I asked him if he was more excited about the book or the movie.
He was definitly in favor of the book XD

Ps. I'm so not threadjacking this one, it's actually on topic! :D
haha i've only threadjacked twice or something anyway :P

Garnet, don't worry about comparing them.

Harry Potter has 'ripped' off a few books. If LG really did it to JK, then it would only be karma coming back to her.

Yeah, I'm reading Mansfield Park by Jane Austen right now, and I'm amazed how much it's like HP (and also LG to an extent). I'll spare you the details, but I think it all goes back to the idea, "There's nothing new under the sun in literature." LG sometimes reminds me of a Dan Brown novel too with all of the hidden codes and religious stuff.
