That's a little to MK-ULTRA for me. The series has drawn a lot of ideas from random conspiracy theories. Well, that's how it seemed at first, but now it kind of seems to be all of these combined, with little originality.

The Creators need to create something of their own. Sure, they can draw influences from other places, but they seem to want to go overboard with it.

Jonas's family tree problems may make a good season two, so to speak, but then DB, Sarah, and Bree (???) would need to have a reason to help him. Maybe they will just go along with it because they are friends, b/c they owe him one, etc.

I think I would like to see these characters live on. Maybe.

And yes, a more mature version would be nice too. Something that is a little darker, more thrilling. Right now, the story is entertaining, but it is a little too "fluffy" for me.

Other than MK-ULTRA being a research program into brainwashing, I don't see how that's alike. I presume they've never taken people against their will or something like that.

Plus if you can't write a story about things that already exist or have existed in the past there is not mucht left.

I remember Lost having ties to an expirement aswell, I don't remember the name. But is was something having to do with electro magnetic fields that would enable a ship to become completely invisible on radar. However it resulted in the ship disappearing entirely and showing up 300 km from it's original place. The experiment was stopped but it is rumured that people have been experiencing strange events like returning on the original place wilsth being merged with a wall or the ability to move through some solid objects. Ofcourse this was never proven to be true.

i vote no simply because bree running off instigates the end of the character relationship establishing drama/action lull... and the high tension search and rescue will resume... thats how i see it... but if the next epi is more of the character building drama i'll be brassed... i want intese order fightin crazyness... thats where the ending left it to go so it should

Some were volunteers (ill informed), and yes, some were just taken off the streets. They tested new (at the time) drugs such as lsd, tried to control minds, and I think these experiments spawned sensory torture.
