Myth 1: The mods will see this shortly after it's posted.
There are 4578 members on this board
1 Admin
2 Ambassadors
4 Mods (1 of the 4 mods is on extended vaycay)
So there are 6 of us to read everything on a non-paid basis. It seems like there are more but remember, 'Mute and Apo aren't mods anymore.
*raises hand*
Concern:
is it felt that more mods are at all needed??
I sure feel that way after reading this. lol
I know they aren't short of volenteers either.

Does that count?
Oh, and I also have great laundry facilities for the occasional thread cleaning job...and a broom...a super-duper magical thread moving, post-sweeping clean-up broom.
Yep, that's me...
Hmmmm...they don't seem to have gotten the giant "S" on the apron yet...darn! <snicker>
Dang! All I've got is the Illuminati...
Mods are not Gods! (my new bumpersticker)
But we do our best to be fair to everyone and handle issues as best we can. I'm always willing to answer questions and concerns by PM if anyone ever needs my help.

I'd like to clarify also that ambassadors ARE moderators as well as liasons between various groups on the forum, to help integrate new members and to preserve overall harmony. We moderate specific areas of the forum towards that purpose. However, we occasionally help out when needed anywhere we are asked.

still, that is 763 to one moderator.
I'd expect it to be more so around the 300-500 mark.

Thanks, guys. I'd curtsy, but I have a tendency to trip and land on my nose when I do that...so I'll go with a simple, but terribly eloquent thanks...

How many of that 763 are active posters?

Thanks for the concern, guys. Right now I think we're good with moderators. But again, if folks are interested in being considered down the line, please let me know.
