Lucy is a mystery. There is more to her than what meets the eye.

I agree that she is a mystery. Look at it this way.

The HoO want Bree to volunteer for the ceremony. They go to Lucy and say something like "Find Bree and persuade her to volunteer."

Lucy sets the trap and returns to the HoO with exactly what they wanted. They might ask her how she did it. Is she going to tell them?

No. She is going to keep all of her cards close to her vest in case the game isn't over. She isn't going to tell them about TAAG's vids.

I'm slowly starting to think of Lucy as a semi-Randall Flagg.

I wonder if she is doing the whole manipulating thing...

I mean, a watcher did shoot that kidnapper.

Edit: At first I thought it was just a different language (which it might be) but the one at the top looks like the Quake symbol, lol.

I don't think Lucy's the only person with knowledge of the videos. If Bree's as important as we've been led to believe, it would be stupid of them to make the rest of their organization pretend she doesn't exist.

In any case, the OpAPHID division definitely knew about the videos as well, and I would think the deacons also know since they wanted Bree to mislead Daniel. Alex also was definitely aware, and the same for whoever arranged for Jules to be bait.

There's quite a few people who have to be in the know.

I agree, Lurker, but my point is that those who DO know aren't sharing the information with anyone else. They each hope to use the information to gain an edge. They aren't cooperating.

Just b/c one deacon knows, does not mean they all automatically know.

Maybe they are dealing with the CIA branch of the Order or something. Maybe only select people with the proper level in the Order know about it.

She is a fan with inside info. She can be relied upon (I think) but doesn't knwo more than you or I plot wise.

Canon (check in a dictionary) means that it belongs to the works accepted as authentic of an author, or group of authors.

Amanda being one of the Creator, it makes Nikki B technically canon.

More importantly than that, Nikki's exploits are acknowledged as occurring within the fictional reality of LG15 by other characters who inhabit it. I say "more importantly" because Amanda and Alli could have made Nikki's vids be completely set outside of continuity if they had wished.

Regardless of the reasons, though, Melisa, the long and short of it is, yes, Nikki's a canon character.
