I'm not arguing the validity of your point, SARAHPHOBIA88. Even if they made a new Crowley/Antichrist, it still needs to be a living, breathing person.

if they are trying to study the origin of life it seems like they are more trying to disprove a religion...abiogenesis!

"The RNA world hypothesis states that early life forms lacked protein enzymes and depended instead on enzymes composed of RNA (1). Much of the appeal of this hypothesis comes from the realization that ribozymes would have been far easier to duplicate than proteinaceous enzymes (2--5). Whereas coded protein replication requires numerous macromolecular components [including mRNA, transfer RNAs (tRNAs), aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases, and the ribosome], replication of a ribozyme requires only a single macromolecular activity: an RNA-dependent RNA polymerase that synthesizes first a complement, and then a copy of the ribozyme. If this RNA polymerase were itself a ribozyme, then a simple ensemble of molecules might be capable of self-replication and eventually, in the course of evolution, give rise to the protein-nucleic acid world of contemporary biology."

This is my theory on that subject (be it as crazy as possible!)

What if Bree was a clone of someone or something, or I don't know,
or she was a "test tube" baby thing, grown!? That would explain
why her parents aren't her parents right!?

Crazy thought I know

I still like the theory someone else had of the order trying to unlock the key to immortality.

I have brought that up recently too! Bree could be a clone of someone long ago...
Which means she is not the first, and no "new girl" could ever have taken her place.

Maybe they just keep making little Brees after little Brees as sacrifices or something!?

heres what I think...

I think they are doing experiments to try and create an asexual human being. For example, in order to have a baby, you dont need to have sex. AKA "women wont need men"

And also, havent you noticed that all the main order members so far (Brees mom, Lucy, Alex, Oppy) have all been FEMALE. And Im thinking that any baby thats going to be created by ribozymes would be female as well..

In other words, I think the order is just some dirty feminist organization thats trying to make the male race extinct on the earth....

(and if anyones wondering. I think the watchers are just in it for the money lol)

didn't they do a movie like that, called "last man on earth" or sumthin?

"They somehow make life"

How they go from "they catalyze their own synthesis" to "they somehow make life" is beyond me.

I have a few objections to this theory.
1. A clone from bree would be physically bree. You can't generate a different set of DNA if you only have one to work with. So no Crowley.
2. In this contemporary world, "virgin" birth is no big deal. Artificial insemination needent break the hymen , if that's your criteria or require sex if that is. So a virgin birth at this point is moot.
3. Even if somehow you could get a Crowley with cloning, the clone would be a baby. He wouldn't have any of the memories or life experiences that made up the original Crowley. He would be his own person.

But raise him to think that he is the same Crowley reincarnated and he'll be the exact same person. Make him read everything about "himself" and jam all of "his" past thoughts into his head. By nature he'd be a different person, but by nurture he'd become the same as the Crowley before.
