Gidget, I see where you are coming from about Daniel, and it makes a lot of sense, and could very well be right. I just can't get the pizza and spin art out of my head.

But, if Beastie was going to be a part of the ceremony, wouldn't he have had to be tested for the trait or whatever like the other people? Or maybe the guys aren't so peculiar?

While the conspiracy theorist in me wants a way for Beastie to be a bad guy, I just can't spin it in any way that makes sense.

I really don't see daniel a part of the ceremony.

However the idea that the spinart drugged up situation is still effecting him is logical.
When I witnessed him sitting and having tea with that woman, I got irked. And then when i listened to his run down to Jonas, my stomache got all...rumbely.

I'm gettig the feeling that they are using daniel to 1) Protect the ceremony and keep Jonas away so they can go through with it AND 2) Keep Jonas from finding his family.

I really have a feeling still that the order is after Jonas' wealth, too. So I think there may be a possibility that something may be happening with that.

Wow. I didn't even think about them going after Jonas' wealth. Good brainstorm!

If they wanted his wealth, couldn't they just take it? I mean, if they have judges on their side and all.

Besides, if they can afford to raise thousands of girls to adulthood in addition to taking care of the parents assigned to those girls, they must be wealthy beyond imagination already.
