I actually have a friend that I roommated with eons and eons and eons (and EONS!) ago...who, at the time of this story, tended bar, so she got in reallyreally late.
She'd often have a bowl of cereal when she got home, while she unwound, before trying to get ready to get to sleep.
One morning, not paying lots of attention, she managed somehow to pour gin on her sugar-laden bowl of Cheerios.
Not being a wasteful sort, she went ahead and ate 'em.
Apparently a Cheerio martini ain't half bad. Ain't half GOOD either, but... <shrug>
No, she didn't add an olive. Yes, it was a one time thing (at least I think it was - I've never asked if she's repeated that one!

)

I talked to John Travolta on TV once. Apparently I told him that he was cooler than Tom Cruise for not being a psychopath and that I'd keep watching his movies since he was cool.
Just the other week, my friends and I got drunk and watched RENT. By the end of the movie I was sitting in a pool of my own tears and singing (horridly) along to the songs.
Good times.

What,
you were on TV?
Or were you just drunk and talking to the TV?
Or were you on TV and drunk at the same time?

Oh, oh dear god no. If I were drunk on TV, believe me, I'd have inadvertently started three wars by now. I'm a silly, lovable drunk, but I've got a foul, foul mouth.
No, I mean we were watching Swordfish on TV and I was drunk and talking to John Travolta on the movie. I say we were watching, but now, months later, I still can't remember a damn thing from that movie.
