On another note, that new bandage on her arm is way too big for an injection. Much bigger than the first one. Maybe a brand?

This is one time when it would have been better to NOT post a video. A few days of silence from Bree would have built the tension among the fans.
Instead there should have been another Daniel vid. Something along the lines of "I haven't seen her, heard from her and I don't know what going on - I need your help".
THEN have her post based on fan response to Daniels request for help - after a few days of silence.

I doubt it . any religious group which has gone to such great lengths to avoid visibility would not have such an obvious marker of membership. One item of interest would be Bree noting that now it is more important than ever to be discplined and whatnot. If this pertains to a continuation of such a diet, I think it would be within reason to be concerned for her health. Any diet with a lack of iron is not healthy, especially with women who historically are more prone to anemia(for whatever reason, but I believe it is because of dieting and menstrual cycles). Supplemental treatments for iron are not nearly as healthy, because of the lack of other nutrients that iron rich foods provide, which includes but is not limited to phytochemicals, which are very strong preventors of cancer. I think it will be interesting to learn in the future what degree of discipline is expected from her

Not necessarily. Think about the Yakuza -- the Japanese mafia. Members of that secret society have full body tattoos that they only reveal to each other. A tiny little brand on the arm is much easier to conceal than that.

Okay. I stand as a tiny ray of support for the creators. I think they could have done better, but come on people! I have faith that they have a bigger plan then this and that they won't dissappoint. Now let's get to analyzing the clues in this video.

OK, so I'll say it. Anticlimax! So she did the ceremony. So Daniel has Really Lousy Vids of some random part of it. So ... ?

I think you're on the right track. I mean, if it was just a simple religious ceremony, then what were the shots for? What were the iron pills for? There's more going on here than we're being told by Bree.

I'd say that judging from the responses from most of the posters about this latest video, that the Creators have a lot of pressure on them just about now.

They have to come up with a new video that shows they can still grab our attention and interest.

It's hard to believe that after all the hype, the cookie monster video with the date 10/12/06. and all the build up of suspense about the ceremony, they would then post this ho hum the ceremony is over video.

regarding Bree using the "discipline" she learned, along with what's been said, this could also mean that she was able to sit through something like bloodletting or impregantion in a mature way. it's not necessarily something you can practice specifically, but anything that strengthens your discipline and willpower is gonna make you more ready to do that.

regarding Lucy "holding her hand" through the whole thing, this also struck me as odd, and it kinda reminded me of how she said she "wasn't afraid" of the ceremony anymore because Lucy was coming. my first thought was "that must have been awkward" cuz Bree had been talking about doing the steps that Lucy had taught her, it seemed like Lucy being attached to her just would have made them more difficult (in a cumbersome kind of way) to perform. i think when she said "through the whole thing", she could have meant more whatever specific difficult thing Bree had been scared of during the ceremony (ie the blood taking or the sex). also, it kind of reminded me of the kinds of things women say about the people who were with them during childbirth, but i personally don't think Bree already had a baby or anything.

(kinda farfetched:) also, i haven't seen any mention on the boards of Daniel's telling us that Bree and Lucy were inside her house for like an hour before they left for the ceremony (possibly just because i haven't been all the way through that thread), but could the sexual part have happened before they left, and then the ritual just have been to ensure conception or something? of course, one would think that Daniel would tell us if Lucy had brought somebody else with her. but then again, there's more to Lucy than meets the eye in my book... who knows?

Altogether good points, Hannah. Good granny, what if Lucy is a MAN? Heh, heh. She did look rather broader than Bree, and we assumed that was just because Bree was such a twig, but what if it were because she was a he? I'm having trouble thinking of a fully-parallel movie reference, but give me time . . .

And now I'm irked about something else. Even though Bree is "a new person" and presumably above all earthly silliness, she *is* still 16, and she missed a perfect opportunity to rev up her vid a little by making some reference--goofy or not--to posting it on Friday the 13th.

This is just I, wishing for more tension than is afforded by a small bandage and vague references to discipline and hand-holding.

I watched Bree's body language and she sits there hunched over, looks down alot and can barely force a smile...she isn't a happy girl at all...and she is defiately hiding something
