It's "The Perfect Royal Mistress" by Diane Haeger. Pretty good, though a little fustrating because Nell really didn't do any asking of things for herself which annoys you when you read about Lady Castlemaine and Louise de Keroualle getting all these titles and whatnot. I feel like yelling at Charles II for her.

I also got Courtesan by Haeger, about Diane de Poitiers that I didn't like as much. Maybe because the "everlasting", "devoted love" can get kinda annoying at times.
