I have a few points I'd like to make.

1. It's weird that Jonas's 'aunt' isn't much older than them. This seems to indicate that something is up. She either isn't his blood-related aunt, or his grandparents forgot the basic rules of protection in their late life scenility. Poor folks.
2. I don't think Daniel's "what would they do without DB" thing sounds like Jonas and Bree will be hooking up. I have a feeling something will be up, but it would be jumping the gun to have them randomly make out after the last few videos.
3. Incest is unnatural. If you have been brought up in a family that teaches you otherwise, you need to seek psychotherapy and some kind of relief. I am saying this with genuine sincerity. You should not be raised with such a mindset and you should not be having romantic relationships with your relatives. I don't mean to bring up old issues, but I am being earnest in saying that you need to do something about your family.
4. I absolutely love Daniel and this video renewed and increased that profound admiration.
5. What is the significants of tying knots? I immediately thought of fishing, but I have a feeling that wasn't what he meant and I'm just ignorant.
6. I agree 100% that Daniel's cheery mood seemed a tad off. He struck me as almost manic.
7. If there is a "trigger" that sets off his "manic" mode, maybe it has something to do with the aunt.
8. However, if he had been triggered back into his manic mode, why wouldn't he say pro-Order things? Hmm.
9. Anyone else think it's totally weird we went from a "Snow Angels" to "Beach Bum" in like a week? Is the climate in California really that wide-ranged? I wouldn't know.
10. The last time they went to the beach was after Bree's dad died. Significance? Doubt it. Just thought I'd throw it out there if anyone else could make some kind of connection.

Okay ignoring #3, Yeah daniel is acting weird as heck i dont know what to think of it though.

And i have no idea about california climate, i can ask someone about it though.

There are parts where it snows like the mountainous area and of course the beach....

Really? I didn't seem that way to me at all. It seemed like he was almost asking to be paid.

I get the feeling that he's enjoying the documenting aspect of this .

If this whole thing turns out to be a documentary, I'm going to scream really, really, really loud.

1. How is that weird. My mother has several aunts and uncles that are younger than her. She came from a large family, 12 kids. We don't know much about Jonas's parents, and especially not their up bringing to make an assumption that that is weird. My best friend has 7 siblings I believe, and her youngest sister is only 3 or 4 years older than her oldest son. The kids range from 7-25. I really don't think it is that uncommon if you come from a large family...

I loved how he referred to himself as DB... he acknowledged us again!

It's not that weird. We even had somebody post in this thread that there's something like 15 years difference between their age and their sisters'.

I'm not sure bringing that up was the best way to let the issue drop (also not sure being quite so negative of other people's private lives is the best approach in general, buuut...) - and I'm aware that I'm about to make something of a hypocrite of myself by continuing to talk about it (michiev seems to have taken it more gracefully than I, which is funny considering he/she claims to be the one with the upbringing in question; my apologies for continuing this at all), but there's been some statements made which I feel should be addressed since they're already out in the open and the issue's alive again...

"Unnatural" is a pretty big statement, and I'm not sure it really holds up here. Given that an attraction for another human being as a mate can be emotional or sexual (both of which are natural aspects of the human condition - the desire for affection and sex), it's difficult to label it unnatural. Especially given that incest aversion is a societal taboo enforced by norms, not biology.

Speaking of which.

Incest is taboo in nearly every human society that has ever been studied. Some anthropologists even think that there could be a genetic predilection towards revulsion regarding incest.

Anthropologists aren't necessarily the best people to be making guesses like that about genetics. They're highly-learned individuals - but not necessarily in that area. Their interest in genetics is more on inherited adaptive traits.

What studies have been conducted by sociologists, psychologists, and geneticists in general indicate that there is no "incest repulsion" gene. Being creeped out by procreating with a sibling is a result of social situations, not biological. You grow up around someone and they're usually not interesting to you in that way.

Which obviously creates problems in societies with prearranged marriages where the kids to be wed are raised together from childhood.

Anyway, if you didn't grow up with them, then there's not necessarily any repulsion beyond the societal norm. You're as likely to be as attracted to them as you are to anyone.

Children of incest are at a far higher risk for developing myriad genetic disorders, compared to normal children.

Okay, this is true. Not entirely sure "normal children" was the best way to phrase it, but the sentiment is accurate.

I think that jonas and bree are definitely hooking up while daniel is away at the beach.. i think its a pretty obvious opportunity.. and the whole rolling around in the snow movie set it up perfectly. i just don't want too much drama of daniel getting all jealous.. he should just get distracted by the aunt and forget about bree.

Yeah, but under Calif. law, it's statutory (sp?) rape. Unless there is some little side note to that, I don't know if the creators would throw that in (even though the reality is there are plenty of couples in the real world that are 17 &19 or close to that...)

I can't imagine the Creators would be concerned about it. The idea of calling it a crime in the first place is rather silly when you're talking about people that age.

It couldn't be since it develops in tandem with our time and we've communicated with them on several occasions.

I think it would be kinda icky/creepy if Daniel hooked up with Jonas's aunt.

It wouldn't bother me unless one or the other was an a*****e (and if it's my family we're talking about, the chances are pretty good for that). If they were both decent individuals, though, and I loved them, I'd be very happy for them.

Thank goodness someone else mentioned the teeth before I did. It;s weird, he looks so handsome most of the time but this vid emphasized his worst feature. His front two teeth are huge.

I admit to only skimming through these pages tonight... but, uh... was there anything really in the video that brought up incest? Why is it such a big topic on this thread? Not to sound rude... I am just curious...
