That's quite a reach. We have no idea what the circumstances of his dismissal were. As an actor, though, you have to be prepared to be dismissed for any number of reasons that in any other profession may seem very trite. Yes, they may have fired him because he doesn't look right or doesn't have the capacity to show the range of emotion required...but that is part of the acting "business". If you can't roll with the punches, you can't expect to ever be hired again.
