I completely agree with you, Marbella. I have been saying for some time that their entire family dynamic seems very toxic and strange. Very fishy, if you ask me.

But I think we're one of the few who are interested in anything other than the contents of Sarah's sweater.

I was under the impression that Taylor wanted Sarah to call her mom to help make her feel better but that she wouldn't do it. I didn't catch the other part.

Once a teenager graduates high school, the teenager is seen as emancipated from any guardian. Sarah's diploma is her "license to live." Mom, hopefully sent her off with her blessing...and I am sure she did since Taylor said Sarah & Mom talked just the day before.

This is gonna be a pretty angry post about how much I hated this video, so feel free to skip it if you want.

I've been pretty in-the-middle about Sarah the whole time, and I actually liked her in the earlier vids, but after this video, I hate her. Not just because:
MayhemII wrote:She violated P. Monkey. :-(
Although that's a part of it. Mostly, she's just completely selfish! Sarah, did you really think it would be a "magical adventure" traveling 1500 miles (approximately) to stay with two guys whose best friend just left them to go with a bunch of evil people they've been running from for about a year? Yes, the "Doom and Gloom Brothers" would rather fight a creepy organization that's destroyed all three of their lives and may be brainwashing and/or preparing to kill their best friend rather than hang out with you in HappyFunLand.

If you don't want to be there, leave. If you do, then stop complaining and consider helping.

Also, I got this from the fifth page, but I felt it was worth quoting:
Gidget wrote:Playing with P.Money feels wrong. Like Bree is dead or something, and all those toys that meant so much to her are just objects to be tossed around.
Thank you, Gidget. This is exactly how I feel. P. Monkey seems like a representation of Bree, and Sarah seems to have no respect for either of them.

On more positive notes:

While I hate the character of Sarah, the actress playing her is doing a good job. I liked seeing Taylor, and I definitely think their parents have a role to play in whatever's coming up. Can't wait to see what it is.

I fourth! :D

Sorry this post was so negative. It's all just my opinion, of course.

You don't know she's underage. She could be 18 by now.

I'm on page 5, but want to chime in any way.

I think it is a huge slap in the face to Bree with Sarah's whole deal with P Monkey. And Sarah even blasts Bree (Oh Snap!).

And i didn't even notice that that is supose to be DB's bedroom. Herrrrrrrm.

Also, I think the next time taylor is on camera we will hear about how mad she is at Sarah for not letting her know she was on camera during the video chat (if she wasn't aware).

Good vid.

I didn't know Sarah graduated H.S. I thought she was Taylor's younger sister. Taylor and Sarah weren't even allowed to go out oone night, remember? That's strange to me. I agree with smelltheflowers that the whole family dynamic is WAY fishy. I also wouldn't be surprised if they are fishy themselves, since they are the ones who guided BDJ to Jules.

Yes, the family is weird. I give you that!

(Sarah talks to people on myspace, and blogs. She is the older sister, and literally JUST graduated within days before flight to California!)

I love Sarah. It's great how she's so polarizing around here. (Although it does seem to be mostly girls who don't like Sarah. I've got my own theories for why that is.)

This was a great video. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Sarah is great because she's so different from everyone else. She takes the seriousness out of this whole situation. I love how she takes us out of character. She's above the whole situation and doesn't letter anyone dictate anything for her.

Her abuse of P. Monkey was great. Sarah is the Anti-Bree and a breath of fresh air in this series.

As far as Sarah leaving the house, I think she probably wanted that, so she could chase Daniel.

:/ I'm beginning not to like Sarah. I mean, she's a fun character and we get a lot of laughs from her ...

but her and story line are just not meshing. I don't feel her importance and maybe Beastie just wants to get down her pants (or visa versa) but why drag her along? I just kind of wish she would just prove herself worthy. I wish Taylor was with Jonas and Daniel instead of her because atleast Taylor cares about Bree.

God, Sarah reminds me of my sister (same age too). She has no respect for anybody else and only cares about herself and what will benefit her.

My issue with Sarah has nothing to do with her age and whether or not she’s ‘legal’. I think the way you treat your parents and family members is very indicative of your character.

If I knew my mother was suffering, whether it be physically or emotionally, and that a simple phone call could help heal her pain, I would do it in an instant. The fact that Sarah would rather be snarky and ‘cute’ by telling Taylor she will try and call when she has no intention to is very telling in my mind.

I get that many teenagers go through a rebellious stage. Well, guess what? If Sarah truly is an adult (18 years or older, as many claim), she should act like one. That stage starts to get old after a few months, and she’s milking it for all it’s worth. If I had a daughter like her I would be truly ashamed, as so far she has demonstrated in her videos and interactions with other characters that she has no interest in anyone other than herself.

Now, I’m not saying she’s not a good character when it comes to the actual logistics of the series. While working on my own novel I’ve found that it’s the characters that polarize people and make them feel most passionately that are the most effective plot-wise. I’m simply saying that I can stand her as I find her to be selfish, immature, and arrogant (Among many other adjectives)

In some ways I hope something will happen to her personally to demonstrate how serious this situation truly is. Her attitude is really starting to grate on me, and it seems like she is simply one of those people who need to learn things the hard way.
