I think you'd better, for all your sakes. It's totally not healthy for any of you to breath all that crap in!krig wrote:I hope not! I am not letting them out of my bedroom until that hole is closed, but if there are spores in the air, I guess I can't do much. I think I had better buy a HEPA filter!jc_gypsy7 wrote:
heh, I'll bet! The mold won't hurt your cats, will it?

Unfortunately, something crawled out of the hole in the ceiling in the apartment below, so it's possible. We have never had any problems with mice or bugs because of the cats, but since they are not on active duty right now, who knows?jc_gypsy7 wrote:OMG, don't even THINK anything like that.. *shuddering*!!!krig wrote:![]()
I am just hoping nothing crawls out of the hole in the floor tonight!

Oh jeez.. well, at least the cats will be on duty hopefully tomorrow, that will help. I spent most of my life in NY in apartments, so all that is not new to me.. I'm a total freak about bugs, can't handle even ants, never mind anything bigger. The cats might wind up complicating things tho.. you won't be able to spray with them in the house.. so what are you going to do?krig wrote:Unfortunately, something crawled out of the hole in the ceiling in the apartment below, so it's possible. I know the people below us have called the exterminator a few times. (They seem to be a bit messier than us in terms of garbage.) Their exterminator has asked if we want them to do our apartment and we always say no because of the cats. I could take the cats to my parents' if we developed a bug problem, but so far the bugs have decided that they like our downstairs neighbors more than us, so it has been ok.jc_gypsy7 wrote: Oh jeez.. well, at least the cats will be on duty hopefully tomorrow, that will help. Or else your cats have quietly feasted on the bugs and you never knew it, lol! Well, let's hope that continues.. if they didn't like your place before, in all probability that will continue.krig wrote:I know the people below us have called the exterminator a few times. Oh, I am sure they are feasting! One of the cats is always camped out in front of a corner, staring and listening. If anything came out of there, he probably ate it! Yummy treats! Their voracious appetites seem to have been enough to keep the bugs downstairs. At least they are doing something to earn their keep!jc_gypsy7 wrote:
