The private transmissions were used only by crazy order-vision guy killed in the desert. We just learned of Daniel's new motivation to find out about what happened there, and learn who this guy was and who he worked for.
What was Nikki B's theory about this whole OpAphid/crazy-guy connection?
Is WarPylol similar to crazy-guy, another one of these rogue elements?
Is the whole OpAphid organization a rogue group within the order?
Is Mr. Zipp an OpAphid insider, HoO, or the Order, or what?
Could it be that the audience he's been looking for were either Tachy or Brother?
What is it about Maddy's communications that is so threatening to Op?
Maybe the messages have been innocuous so far not to draw much attention, and Zipp was hoping to spill the beans once he knew that the right people were listening (Tachy, Brother, Mom & Dad?).

I think the decision to use private videos happened while Glenn was still at LG15, but didn't get implemented until after he'd left.

Well if we are going with the whole Nikki B route.
On the white board OTS is one of the factions of the order.
Crazy eye's transmittions use OTS so we can assume he is OTS. Nikki says according to her source old crazy eyes worked for Op Aphid. So if he is OTS and he works for OpAphid. OpAphid would be OTS as well.

If they both work for opaphid then yes.

If OTS and OpAphid are one and the same then yes. Not even the resistance seemed to know what OTS was except not watchers.

Any type of leak can become threatening to a secret organization. Didn't op appear after tachyon took information to leak? or am i mistaken.

This confirms that:
a) Maddy has seen the video, and is now on the run,
b) There wasn't much fuss about the whole "private communication" thing.
(OOG, I'm just confused about private communications now, what we are and aren't allowed to say IG. I can understand why they're cool for LG15 which is essentially TV with a bit of interactivity, but for an ARG they're just a complete pain. The worrying we did in this forum about not being able to tell Maddy about warpylol's video was just ignored.)

either way, she's been DOING that. She's been MAKING vids. Posting them. This story won't sell locally and that's not what she wants anyway - she's doing it in the best way possible. She's basically being a good journalist. Hunter S would be proud.
