i'm a spinner too
 I'd read the Urban Dictionary definition of that word before you start saying that too often.
Oh wow, I hadn't ever heard that definition.

But I'm also a spinner in fooseball.

"Also"? As in ... "in addition to"? What's the full context of this, JALG? I think you've caught our attention.

Anyone care to do a search of Fuddruckers in the greater LA area and see if they can figure out where they are? Y'know, for NikkiB

Well, if we go with the idea that they are back to filming in the Valley...

Sherman Oaks (This is in the Galleria)
15301 Ventura Blvd, Sherman Oaks, CA 91423

Burbank (This is near the town center...onthat busy little street of shops)
221 North San Fernando Road, Burbank, CA 91501

My guess is if it is a Fuddruckers, they were in Sherman Oaks at the Galleria. That's kind of the area where they've done a lot of filming, and it's easily accessible to the freeway and those in the cast who live on the other side of the hill.
Originally, upon seeing this post, and then seeing the close proximity of a Fuddruckers to other locations they have been, I thought it must be also. But as I looked into it I began to wonder. So here are some questions that might eliminate a trip to the two Fuddruckers to try to confirm.
1. It looks like all Fuddruckers use black/white checkered tablecloths. (I don't see that reflected in the footage.)
2. I have not been able to confirm that they serve hard liquor, although apparently they do serve beer. In the vid, you can see posters/plaques for hard liquor on the wall. (Leading me to believe they are somewhere else).

But never fear, no doubt Nikki B will clear it all up for us soon :)

Right Nikki? :smt045

Oh. This just came to me. Those machines on the left. Video slots? This is what kinda struck me too, they were driving in the desert just the other day, and there's only 2 ways to the desert in Cali, out the 10 to the east, or up the 15 to the northeast.

So, going out on a limb, are they in Vegas? The desert did look a little more Nevada than Arizona.

Soooo. Anywho.

They were in the MOjave Desert of California. And, actually, the easiest way is taking the 5 to the 14 into the Antelope Valley. At least, it is if you're heading out from certain parts of LA. That's all desert, too. Trust me...I was born and raised in the Mojave Desert. :smt003 I know all the ways in and out, and the shortcuts, too.

One could also take the loooong way....and take the 5 to Gorman to Quail Lake. That's a nice long drive through absofuckinglutely nowhere.

Yeah, you're right Bethy, there's the 14. I guess I was thinking of the main highways, and my brain was already thinking of Vegas cause of the vid. Any other thoughts on Fuddruckers or Vegas?
(I know it doesn't really matter, just fun to speculate :)

Edit: To delete a word.

I thought all the talk about "spinning" was a subtle reference to "spin art" and the whole "DannyB" phenomenon we've been discussing on the boards.

EDITED TO ADD: Oops. I was complaining the other day about people who don't read the whole thread before jumping in, and now I'm doing it.

But she wasn't attacking mosquitos. She defined "skeeter hunting" - or "skeetering" - as attacking "those little water beetles that skit along the surface." What we ended up seeing her smack was a water strider (they do skit along the surface, but aren't any kind of beetle as far as I know), which is probably about as harmless (to people) as insects come (they actually eat the larvae of mosquitos, so if you consider mosquitos dangerous to people, then water striders' activities actually protect people).
Maybe she just doesn't like bugs.
