Isn't OpAphid's sign-off "Be well--for the sake of us all"?

Huh? We've had two -- count 'em, two -- women introduced in the videos: RandomGirl (Katherine McPhee) and Alex.

Alex (as -- ahem -- I've been saying all along) is evil.

RandomGirl was just . . . well, random.

The Op videos, while they may have been retroactively made canon, are still not part of the main storyline, AFAIK.
Actually I was referring to Gemma and Alex. Katherine McPhee doesn't do it for me. Alright Gemma isn't "technically" bad yet. We don't know everything about her. But when Jonas revealed her I felt a deep sadness within my chest. And now Alex? </3

What about Bree? Does she count as a hot woman?

I hope that's hypothetical, because that is really superficial.
AM wrote:What is Bree supposed to do? Not warn him because he'll assume she's jealous? Stay shut while Alex feeds him pizza & ice cream and invites him to do spin art?
Ha ha on the pizza, ice cream, and spin art.

She did warn him in the video; she could have just asked him to acknowledge it. And, as I said in another post, what is she going to do about it? She should have stayed with Tachyon and gotten some cool ninja skills.

However, if she pulls another "Human Ransom" without Tachyon's help, I will have great respect for her once again.
AM wrote:Daniel doesn't want or need Bree's undying affection unless it is sincere. He doesn't need a sympathy f****. He's hot enough that he could find someone cool, given the chance.
Agreed, but let's not forget, he doesn't want Bree for a f**k; he's in love with her.
AM wrote:But he does need a loyal friend who lets him know when she sees him walking into a trap.
Agreed.

ETA: But can't Bree be a gf, and a friend?

Well, Gemma did try to get Brother killed, and seemed to want to use the "D" in "APHID" ("Destroy") on Bree. I'd say she's pretty bad.

Somebody needs to read Pride and Prejudice.
I haven't read it, bethy, but does it support my view; or are you telling me there is an opposing view I should consider in this classic novel.

Now that you've recommended it, I'll read it.

I have a comment from a few pages back and I tried to quote it but apparently it wont let me for some reason, but it's sort of off topic anyways. I've seen a lot of really catty comments between members of this board, and you'll have to forgive me, maybe this is okay here or acceptable, but if I wanted to read snarky, catty comments and eye-roll smilies, I'd go over to TWOP. It's just really annoying when I have to read through pages of bitchy side comments. Do you think maybe we could tone it down a bit with the snide comments or the " and act like the adults we are? It's really wearing on me. Especially when it's just for someone having a difference of opinion.

Hmm, in my experience, this is a tame forum. You ought to stroll over to Yahoo chat. Now that's an experience.

I understand your concern, but you really don't think posters who have been posting here for a long time are going to change the way they post, right? We know each other, and what you consider catty may be just us playing around.

Here is how you do a quote:
[ quote='insert name of poster here']
And to end the quote:
[\quote]

Use quotation marks where I put the apostrophes, and the opposite slash in the end quote. I couldn't make it not quote the other way. Hope that helps.

I just tried to click the quote me button, but whatever. I'll try to do that in the future.

*shrugs*

And while I consider myself to be a pretty good judge between playing around and sarcasm and being a bitch, you may be right, I dunno. I'm just saying it's a turn off, and to be honest, a lot of what I've seen around here falls squarely into the "bitch" category. But whatever. Carry on.

Yes.

Unless you are not on her side.. then she says for your own sake.

Remember when Luke left Dagobah to try and save his friends and Yoda got all pissed?

Oh and by the way Luke walked into a trap? Beware the Cloud City Gambit Bree!!!

I guess if you try hard enough you can relate anything to Star Wars...
That's exactly my first impression too!

I really didn't feel like reading the pages back considering this video is short and right to the point. Basically, what I did read, and forgive me if I sound redundant but I really don't think Alex being apart of the Order (if she is) automatically means Jonas is. I'm just worried that this is a trap to get Bree there but yeah...
Well, I don't have much to say on this now. :?

I think it's cool that Bree is acting mature and taking the iniative in helping her friends, but she doesn't need to disreguard Tachyon's advice if she tells her not to go.
Tachyon knows what she's doing.
