This is a frilled shark, just recently seen near Japan. They are prehistoric, haven't evolved much. They don't survive in captivity, like all sharks, so of course the Japanese captured it, put it in a tank, and watched it die hours later. Damn you Japan, you make good anime, but you suck when it comes to animals.

That ain't Sam, he's "Pee Wee Martini," a competitor for last summer's contest. Amazingly, he didn't take the coveted prize, Archie did. By the way, that freak show is held in Petaluma.
