Alright, my first theory was that both Jonas and Daniel actually knew that she was leaving and this is a message to someone to tell her that she is on her way.
Going off on that, it is possible that this was a message from Jonas to OpAphid that he had sold her up the river, but that remains unsubstantiated so I will just put that idea out there.
I still think that Bree's dad, being an intelligent man, would have realised what his daughter was doing in her room so much, and would have, at some point, begun watching her videos. That is why I think she was communicating with him when she said "C U SOON."
While Joy made a good point that she may be communicating with someone else, but I still stand firm that the only person who she would logically be saying "see you soon" would be the man she was trying to meet. I say "man she was trying to meet" because, very simply I am not entirely convinced that she would actually find her father when she went to meet the man. I think it might be a play to catch her.
But now I am veering off topic...anywho...what do you guys think?

That's actually what I thought originally. I mean, the Order took Brees parents, and I doubt they'd let the Dad have a phone, say, hey, look, make a vm while we don't listen, it's obviously private. Even if the message is old, how would her Dad know she replied? If she left a message, how would he hear it, and if she did it some other way, how would he know? They're meant to be with the Order!Kimmi-Chan wrote:What if the order forced her dad to do that voice message and is going to capture her when she gets to the location?just throwing it out
Also, I haven't watched the vid yet, but when I was reading the transcript I thought that Dan and Bree were missing, taking the car and stuff. I also found it strange that the first time all three were together, someone goes missing. And Jonas was very happy when Daniel showed up. After all, he's wanted D&B together at his house for a looong time

good point, hope you're right, I'm hoping she's off to find daddy right now, and I'm also hoping he's waiting for her.joygasm wrote:The only reason I doubt this is because I believe if he was "forced" you would definitely be able to hear more stress in his voice.Kimmi-Chan wrote:What if the order forced her dad to do that voice message and is going to capture her when she gets to the location?just throwing it out

Aideen, I honestly distrusted Jonas completely in the beginning, with that story of his parents' disapperance, but I guess he's pulled me over. So from that opinion, I think he was happy that Daniel was there just so Bree could be happy.
If he is a bad guy though, than I'm very Very disappointed in him.

I think "Ransacked" was a ploy to scare them into going home. I mean, if they were being ransacked and having watchers "following" them, why not just take them there? No, I think that they were first trying to scare both Bree and Daniel home. It didn't work. They only got Daniel. So now they've just taken Bree. Or lured her out. Or something.lonelyelendi wrote:Someone else theorized that OpAphid could be behind this as they tend to work silently and "coyly" I believe was the word. But I disagree: See, in "Ransacked" they were not careful, silent, nor coy, but rather straightforward and threatening.
This bring up another point though: Why was there a sudden shift in their tactics? I mean, until that point they had worked silently, and then, out of nowhere they come out in the open?
I refuse to believe that both Jonas AND Gemma are bad. Come on. How lame is that?
What do you think about the LoveLine reference?Kimmi-Chan wrote:Aideen, I honestly distrusted Jonas completely in the beginning, with that story of his parents' disapperance, but I guess he's pulled me over. I agree that it is odd that they had not taken her, and I do think that you are right about trying to scare them home, that I hadn't thought of, but my point still stands; it was a shift in tactics. The watchers blended in, and I doubt that they were a scare tactic, so why then change to a blatent terrorist act?Chartreuse wrote:I think "Ransacked" was a ploy to scare them into going home. It just doesn't make sense. That is why I had thought that she might have been kidnapped, however, I have now been swayed from that point of view. I know believe that....

Kimmi-Chan, I have had 100% the exact same response to Jonas as you xP I didn't buy the whole family thing, because I thought it was bad acting on his part, I didn't believe it. But I reckon it was just nerves and being unfamiliar with that style or acting and filming. Jonas' character is someone I like much more now. And I also hadn't watched the video until right now
BUT! Now that I have. First off, wow, Jonas was pissed. From where he says Bree was gone to the part about his crdit cards, really good acting. Looked like he was going to hurt someone.
Daniel. Hmm. Ok. I don't know if this ever happens to anyone else, but if I look at someone and it looks like they are going to smile soon or grin or laugh, or are faking something, I will do a massive grin myself and look completely nuts. Shaved nuts that is ;P Ok, but seriously, watching Dan, I didn't get the sense that he believed anything he was saying about wondering where Bree is. I felt he was covering. I dunno, just my take on it, but DB knows more than he's saying to my mind.

When I heard that it interested me, I don't know where there going with it, but I'd like to find out... Maybe Jonas is actually Lonelyboy15, and was hoping that lonelygirl15 would come and they could console eachother... lol, j0kingjoygasm wrote:What do you think about the LoveLine reference?Kimmi-Chan wrote:Aideen, I honestly distrusted Jonas completely in the beginning, with that story of his parents' disapperance, but I guess he's pulled me over. It is funny you mention that loveline reference as it was what got me thinking that Jonas might be near me.............................. until I realized that loveline is a nationally syndicated show. lol

How Far Can you Get with $50
We have sort of figured out how far you can get in this thread:house wrote:I can't believe that neither of them had watched her videos before now. That just seems... bizarre.
It would be my guess, too, that Bree went to meet her dad. It has been a week since that phone message was left. He said he would meet her in a week, in the place where they discussed Jared Diamond.
I wonder if Bree spiked Jonas' eggnog with something so that he'd be totally wonked out when she stole his car and credit cards?![]()
The whole "Bree drove herself" idea is kind of iffy. Although, when Bree and Daniel were "on the run", I guess it wouldn't be unlikely that Daniel may have taught her how to drive before they ditched the car. You almost have to wonder if she just drove Jonas' car (poorly) down the remote road until she got to a train station (or something). We know Daniel was able to get from his house to Jonas' with less than fifty bucks. That seems to suggest that he didn't go very far. You can get regional Amtrack and Greyhound fares for less than $50. I'm surprised no one has looked up where, from LA, one could go with less than fifty bucks. *rambles*
Anyway- Jonas said "one of my cars." This means that he and Daniel could, hop in his car and drive around to the train station or bus station and see if Jonas' car is in the parking lot. Of course, this is the Breeniverse and they won't think of that for several days.... *sigh*

There is a good theory where he lives too.
