and regarding the pub comment, I think the idea of pubs being smokey and gross is a north american misconception. There are those kinds of pubs in the UK as well, but there are also tonnnes of family friendly ones too. I live in Canada but my whole familys in england.

well maybe i've had bad expieriences with pubs, in middlesbrough where i used to live there was like 5 scruffy ones about, and now down here there quite a few where i wouldnt dare eat at!
