Not so fantastic. I developed some sort of head cold yesterday and was stuffed up and sneezing the entire day. The worst part was: no appetite! And I had all of this delicious food in front of me! At least I have leftovers for dinner tonight so that I can remedy my lame dinner from the night before.Mirage wrote:*snuggles* Mmm, yes, I have already gotten into the leftovers. It doesn't help that his mom sent us home with 3 plates full of stuff! How was your day yesterday?

I might be able to run from OpAnus and the rest of the drunken illuminutty..but I dare not offend the misstress of the party thread in her own element...I would be lynched in minutes.Mirage wrote:Hee! I ate SO much food yesterday! And we brought home 3 containers of freaking leftovers. I got up this morning and the first thing I did was eat a lemon split second.

Ha! Believe me, the party thread has deviated greatly from the originial...vibe of how it used to be. Feel free to offend at will. (insert cheesy "Who's Will?" joke here!lordgreystoke422 wrote:I might be able to run from OpAnus and the rest of the drunken illuminutty..but I dare not offend the misstress of the party thread in her own element...I would be lynched in minutes.Mirage wrote:Hee! Yeah, I feel a lot better today. Not great, but at least I ate most of lunch and don't sound so nasal-y now.Mirage wrote:Oh no!!I'm sorry!! I had something similar happen to me a couple years ago (was getting over a throat infection), so I know how dissapointing it is! I hope that you're feeling better today...?
*shifty eyed* I've always had a habit of....*ahem* something happening to me during the holidays, if you get my drift. *gets paranoid*Flautapantera wrote:Yeah, I feel a lot better today. Two years ago I had the flu on Thanksgiving! I think it's some sort of conspiracy...
Ahh...*captures drift* Isn't that the worst? *mutilates drift*Mirage wrote:*shifty eyed* I've always had a habit of....*ahem* something happening to me during the holidays, if you get my drift. *gets paranoid*
Well I'm glad you're doing better! I've heard that turkey, mashed potatoes, and gravy help cure the common cold.
You are a violent drift mutilator!Flautapantera wrote:Ahh...*captures drift* Isn't that the worst? *mutilates drift*Mirage wrote:*shifty eyed* I've always had a habit of....*ahem* something happening to me during the holidays, if you get my drift. *gets paranoid*

Hmm, I just reread what I wrote. It sounded kinda violent.![]()
I think the meds I'm on are making me kooky. *nods*
Heh, like "I'm sorry I pulled the chair out when you were about to sit down. It was, uh,...the DayQuil!!"Mirage wrote:You are a violent drift mutilator!Eee! Take a deeeep breath, calm down....the drift has done nothing to you....
Hey, there are worse things in the world then medication that makes you feel kooky!Besides, then whenever you DO do something kooky or odd, you can just blame it on the meds.
Hee! I suppose you could blame stuff of that nature on the meds, but I don't know if people would exactly buy it!Flautapantera wrote:Heh, like "I'm sorry I pulled the chair out when you were about to sit down. "But you aren't sick..?"
"*cough*??"
Yup. Being "sick" (well, the few days after when I wasn't feeling that bad) was my ticket out of dish duty when I was younger.Mirage wrote:Hee! "Hey, did you eat the last slice of chocolate cake?"
"Yes, buuuttttt...I'm sick!" (Baby voice and weak eyelash flutters help)
Mmmm, chocolate cake. *drools*
*head smack* I...I...don't know. But I do know there are brownies on the counter about a foot away from me, and they really, really want me to eat them. (wow, that was a loaded sentence!Flautapantera wrote:Yup. Being "sick" (well, the few days after when I wasn't feeling that bad) was my ticket out of dish duty when I was younger.Mirage wrote:Hee!
