Here is the one where my husband smashed cake in my face. AFTER he said: "Don't smash it in my face, I don't want pictures with cake on my face." SO I said, "Don't smear it on me either."
Well guess what, he lied.
And also, someone didn't set the date right. We got married 7/15/06. Not the 13th. ^_^

I was very happy. I didn't want a church wedding, though, just a big reception. So, I totally scimped on the wedding part. My dress was a white prom dress bought on clearance sale for $75, lol.
Although I call him my hubby, he and I aren't technically married. We have 2 kids, own a home, own a business, but we aren't willing to sacrifice our ideal wedding just to shut my crazy family up.
So good on you, you did what made you happy and looked fabulous in the process!!
It's official!! I'm getting married September 28, 2007!!

thank you. it was really the perfect wedding, if i do say so myself. hehe. we're both lucky enough to have very supportive families who didn't mind contributing (a lot of) money to the wedding fund. my best advice to brides is to get a wedding planner! I am very very high strung and nervous, but everything went smoothly because of my wedding planner. i didn't worry about a thing.
here are a few more pics:

me again
the church
groom's cake (we had an old hollywood themed reception, the film reel was all pictures of us printed on sugar paper...this cake was entirely edible!)
ok, i'm done now.
I love everyone else's wedding pictures! post more!
