so bree's mom is higher up in the order.

which means she knows more about their home being a "controlled home," and has more power over it.

buuuut bree mentioned in older vids that her mom always took her side.

has anyone else pondered this?

her mom would probably always take her side to make bree feel special and important. also to protect her characteristics in becoming the candadit for the ceremony.

This would also foster Bree's trust and would make her mother more likely to be the one Bree would talk to about things that weighed on her mind.

Simple manipulation, but effective.
