I have only recently come to LG15 and OpAPHID, however my pre-existing interest in secret societies and things of that nature was what drew me in.

The sense that I get from the various videos and drops as well as the excellent research done on the forums (lookin' at you trainer) is that there is something of a three tiered structure. The interview above mentions how the Illuminati would operate on different levels.

The first, and lowest level, would be the religous order. In this case Bree's religion. These are "enlightenment" religion practitioners who follow the Egyptian mystery cults and occult practices. This tier would include Lucy and the Deacons.

The next tier would be "The Order." These are the lower ranking Illuminatus, the ones who keep the lower levels "happy" as mentioned in the interview. This would be the Watchers, and probably some of the more financial and power structure members of "The Order" which itself is an extention of the Illuminati.

The highest tier would be the Illuminati themselves. Here we have OpAPHID and War Pylol (who has been recently hinted as being a sort of assasin). The members of the Ipod Opera may fall here. This is also the level Tachyon and Brother would attempt to infiltrate at. Gemma would probably be pawn at this level, probably belonging more to the second tier. However we know she has some contact with Op.

Just my thoughts.

This is a very good analysis of the hierarchy of “the Order”. It truly is a pyramid structure with only the elite level of the organization really understanding the implications of involvement at the lower levels. It also explains why Bree does not understand her importance to the Order – in all likelihood that answer must come from someone higher in the organization.

I have seen set ups (oh, yes, they set up fake deaths, etc. ) where a person was "burned alive" to teach the children not to tell. They are told that this is a traitor, who disclosed,and now he is being punished. (The person wasn't really a traitor, and is in a flame proof vest, but the vision of a person on fire and screaming remains with 3 and 4 year old children for a lifetime). And, when they are adults, even if they DO leave, scenes such as this mean they won't tell many people for fear of being traced and punished.

Because I helped create a lot of set ups as an adult trainer, I became somewhat cynical, and have chosen to disclose as a result. Although I do fight intense fear even now at times. Try being buried in a wooden box for a period of time (it may have been minutes, but to a four year old it is an eternity), and then when the lid is lifted, being told, "if you ever tell, we'll put you back in forever". The child will scream hysterically that they will NEVER EVER tell. I was that child, and now I am breaking that vow made under psychological duress. Because I don't want any other children to go through what I did, or have seen done to others.

Yes, the Illuminati are organized, secretive, and extremely wealthy at its upper levels. They are not stupid, or poor people running around dabbling with witchcraft. To see them as this is a huge misconception.

Q: How widespread would you say this group has infiltrated our society in terms of number of people? Are they present in every town or city throughout North America? Do they take or recruit outsiders? And how far does this group go to keep this knowledge secret?

A: I think I answered some of the secrecy above. The Illuminati are present in every major metropolitan center in the United States. They have divided the United States up into 7 major regions, and each has a regional council over it, with the heads of the local councils reporting to them. They meet once every two months, and on special occasions.

A metropolitan region may have as many as 10 to 30 groups within it, and rural areas will often have meetings with other local groups, and report to the metro leadership council. They almost NEVER recruit outsiders, although ocassionally they will buy children or a family from Asia, for example, and keep them under constant surveillance in return for saving their life from the local Mafia. They are threatened with being returned to this group if they ever disclose.

I have this theory that Bree's Parents' apparent abduction was a set-up with them going so far as to drug them. Pretty convenient that they allowed Bree to witness it, and let Daniel break into the house and the warehouse without them getting caught.

Also, it is odd how Daniel Beast was allowed to get to know Bree, and how he was invited to the play.

Bree's father, when Bree told him how Daniel was worried for her, accepted Daniel a bit more.

My theory about this (and about what I read in this thread) is that Daniel's parents are DEFINATELY in the order...but very low in the level. THAT is why Bree's father only hesitantly allowed Bree to associate with him.

The basic question I see is, "Do you really think the directors of this little soap opera have thought it through to this extent or are they just flying by the seats of their pants and depending on *us* to fill in the theoretical gaps?"

And by the way, I've read most of Crowley's writings over the years and I've done extensive research on various topics related to ancient religion, mysticism, and esotericism, and my final conclusion about A. Crowley is that he made most of it up out of whole cloth. I have yet to see *any* connection between his occult system and anything I have managed to extract from the surviving elements of the ancient systems that was not in the public domain during his lifetime. In short, he had NO access to any legitimate system surviving from the ancient world.

As for the various references to the Egyptian system of magick I have seen here, this ascription of modern beliefs about magick to the Egyptians mirrors a similar tendency among the Classical Greek authors, including Plato. The reason for this was that it added a certain air of legitimacy to their pronouncements. I think I have already mentioned this elsewhere.

I believe Nikki Bower copped it from some Nancy Drew (a book or list of quotes) in the ARG. It was stuff that was picked up in one of the drops.

I do recall something about that. I've not been following the whole Op Aphid story since the early episodes. So it looks like the amateur detective aspect of the ARG has been seeping into the main LG15 storyline, don't you think? I mean Beastie creeping around the warehouse and LG15 herself calling all her connections trying to find her parents and now Daniel and Jonas in the position of having to sus out where Bree has gotten off to.

Just an aside, but if I were in her position (before being abducted at least), I would have used Jonas' obviously unlimited supply of money to hire real detectives to find out where her parents are and what's going on. Hire the right one with the right connections inside the PD and you could probably even find out where they were by tracking their credit card use, etc.

So now it turns out Bree has received a cryptic message from her father and the Beastie Brothers are off to intercept them. Does this mean there's a new on-camera character looming on the horizon? Wouldn't it be funny if it turned out to be Johnny Depp?
