Man, I've been watching Stargate SG-1 far too long to actually know true Egyptian mythology any more. Egyptian gods being parasitic aliens... Now, another storyline of Egyptian mythology is coming into play. This might get confusing.

I don't think the evil priest could be Bree's dad unless she doesn't know about it. She said herself that the Equinox was the last thing she would do with her parents until after the ceremony.

If it really is "the doe-eyed moppet’s only friend", then who is this "only friend"? Daniel? Frank? Or even Cassie?

It could be Cassie, yes, since Bree DID say she was her only female friend. But I think it's Daniel ...
