Tree diagram sort of things? Basically where you label each word in the sentence, nouns, verbs, adjectives, determiners etc. Then, they all somehow attach together in a certain way. Then those nouns, verbs etc are attached to other words to become noun phrases, verb phrases etc, and then those attach together in certain order to go back to the original sentence.
