But I think what we see depends on the type of shots. Wide view might let you see more on the left and right sides in some scenes.. I have a large widescreen for tv viewing and it helps sometimes.. But often the lonelygirl type scenes are close ups. Like in this one the top of her head gets cut off. OK, I agree they may have done that on purpose, but it's easier for this problem to happen now. They are zooming in to give us an up close feeling, but they should have zoomed out to accomodate that aspect ratio. And then she would have been further away (but it would be less clear). Putting in regular tv (4:3) would have solved that. Also notice that since the top and bottom are now black, that portion of the window is NOT being used to display pixels. That means resolution is being lost. If it were a MUCH bigger set, like a 65 inch TV, it wouldn't matter. But I think it does matter in lonelygirl world (the Breeniverse, LOL) Seriously Creators.. If they WERE anticoagulants, in this case they would be subcutaneously administered because the upper arm (where her bandage appears from time to time) is not a good place to go looking for a vein (intravenous = in the vein). Injections given into the upper arm are usually intramuscular or subcutaneous (into the layer of fat between the skin & the muscle). Anticoagulants ARE sometimes given subcutaneously, but of course these routes are also used for lots of other drugs (including vitamin B12, which is needed for red blood cell production), vaccines, etc. The main reason the shots are likely to be something else altogether is that anticoagulants are quite fast-acting, i.e. if the aim was to thin Bree's blood to maximise the amount that could be drawn from her (if that's the kind of thing the ceremony people are in to), this could be achieved with shots starting less than 12 hours before the ceremony. There would be no need for her to have anticoagulant therapy for weeks beforehand. Also, apart from possible pain at the site of injection and bruising, anticoagulants are not likely to leave Bree feeling awful. (Although she might feel awful from having the shots anyway given that she doesn't know what they are, what they're for, or what they're doing to her, and she has no control.) Apart from vitamin B12, for which the dose schedule (what we know of it) seems to make sense, but which also shouldn't make her feel awful, the other plausible possibility (well, if we are considering a mysterious, possibly blood-letting ritual!) is erythropoietin (EPO), which DOES leave a lot of people feeling awful after having it injected - flu-like symptoms, headache, nausea etc. One type (darbepoetin) can be given once weekly. A lot of people have already looked into this as well, so if you're interested (which I guess you are if you've read this far!) look back over posts after previous videos and in the forum... It might seem like I'm looking too much into it but keep in mind one of the creators has a medical background, so he would be unlikely to allow this part of the story to be inconsistent with reality, whatever the explanation does end up being. I don't know what the shots are as I haven't watched the series through, but if they are withdrawing blood from the side of her arm instead of at that soft tissue part where you can actually see the veins, I'd be very disappointed. They went through such great lengths to sell this as believable and that would be plain foolish. Based on how it's panned out thus far and how good of a job they did on most things(*coughexcepttheactingdaniel*cough*cough), I highly doubt that that is the case.
